Hot Lips Turtlehead
Chelone lyonii 'Hot Lips'
A fall flowering perennial with cheerful spikes of pink snap-dragon like flowers over spreading plants. Fast growing to 2ft by 2ft in size. An ideal plant for poorly drained, wet soils. Prefers moist conditions in part to full shade. Hardy in zones 3-8. Native to the south Appalachian areas of the Eastern USA.
