Variegated Bears Breetches
Acanthus mollis 'Tasmanian Angel'
Striking bold leaves with white margins and mottling make this a show stopping architectural plant. It forms a large clump with 4-5ft tall ornamental flower stalks of pink and cream in late summer. Tolerant of most soils, but prefers it deep, fertile, moist and well drained. Will tolerate sun or part shade. Hardy to about -15 degrees celsius
These and other forms of Acanthus are generally available in limited quantities at Art's Nursery. Call ahead to confirm availability.
